Smart Steering: Electronic Steering

Elite's electronic steering plate , Sterzo Smart , is one of this year's most interesting innovations to add even more realism to your indoor training and, above all, have a world of fun.

Compared to its mechanical counterpart, Sterzo Smart is, indeed, smart – that is, able to wirelessly connect directly to Zwift to communicate the movements of the front wheel and its rotation angle.

Place the front wheel of the bike on Steerzo Smart , making sure to point the steering block in the correct direction.
The top of the steering unit will face outwards, with the LEDs positioned on the base on the left.

By pairing Smart Steering with Zwift you can use all the steering functions offered by the platform to overtake other cyclists or stay on their wheel, saving some energy by drafting the cyclist in front of you.

With a registered design, Sterzo Smart consists of a raised support that includes a spring-loaded rotating unit that allows you to easily return the handlebars to their starting position.

Smart Steering accommodates wheels with tires up to 56 mm .

The design of the rotating support is conceived to give the greatest stability to the bike while it is mounted on the roller, while ensuring maximum freedom of angular movement of the wheel to the right and left, up to 34° of rotation on each side.

Sterzo Smart also features non-slip rubber feet on the base to ensure additional stability for the bike and protect the support surfaces from scratches and abrasions.
