Garmin Varia Rearvue 820 Radar Tail Light

The Garmin Varia Rearview 820 is a radar with integrated tail light that alerts you to approaching vehicles directly on your compatible Edge®, Garmin smartwatch, or via the Varia app on your smartphone. Thanks to the latest generation radar technology, which is even more powerful and precise, it detects approaching vehicles with a wider field of view, estimates their size, and indicates their level of danger through specific color codes.

The system identifies vehicles approaching the cyclist from behind at the same speed¹ or about to overtake, increasing awareness while cycling. The tail light is visible up to 2 km away and features a unique flashing pattern with a brake light function, which alerts other road users when you are slowing down or stopping.

To ensure maximum peace of mind even on longer rides, it offers up to 24 hours of battery life in daytime flash mode and up to 30 hours in radar-only mode.
